The Second Annual Taunton Lake Regatta was held on Saturday, August 14, 1999, from 10 am to 12 noon. The regatta contestants raced their single-person racing sculls in one-on-one elimination heats until only one racer was left as the winner (one in each division, that is). The winners were: Men's Division & Overall Winner: Tony Mattson of Havertown, Pa., rowing for University Barge Club of Phila. Women's Division: Deena Popovich of Bala Cynwyd, Pa., rowing for University Barge Club of Phila.
